Creator’s Notes (optional): I thought I might as well write something not sad for a change. Also, how did I manage to fit all today's claimed prompts into one thing this tiny?
Summary: Sometime in the early Fourth Age, Legolas brings his Elvellon to visit his father's Halls. This ensues during their Welcoming Feast.

“What did you use to drink all that, a funnel?” The Elf, maize-yellow hair crowned by indigo spring blooms, sounded cross.

The chestnut-haired Dwarf frowned. “Nay, laddie, I’m dry as a desert. Dorwinion can’t compare to Khazad ale - you’ll be wanting to try that.”

The Elf pointed at the untouched omelette. “Eat, Master Dwarf, ere your kin from the Iron Hills must put you in the Celduin to sober up. Lady Uinen might let me fish you out with a net, afterward.”

“Adar, stop teasing,” Legolas complained, joining them. Gimli blinked. The King?

“King Thranduil, I--”

Thranduil sighed. “Just eat.”

I was *going* to interview Thranduil for that Meta crackfic thing, but then it suggested we got extra kudos for annoying the canon character, and I'd hate to annoy Thranduil! So I picked an elf I didn't "know" as well. :)

Oh yes, most of the words were Thranduil's, LOL, but Legolas was certainly exasperated with his Ada, too! :) I'm glad you liked it. Gimli didn't impress Thranduil during *that* meal at least! Heh!
