b2mem | The Next Round of New Cards

Below the cut, you will find thirty-two new, clever, inspiring, and beautiful cards for our 2019 B2MeM bingo event! Many thanks to our artists for this round--Grundy, Elleth, Elvie, Lunarium, Feanope, and Narya--and to Linaewen, Linda Hoyland, and Oshun, who developed some of the ideas you see here.

Please remember that the last day to submit cards or ideas for cards is January 31. If you have a knack for making graphics and want to contribute a card or few, see this post for more information on making cards. If you'd like a graphics artist to make your idea for you, use this form to submit your card title and prompts.

Card claiming will begin on February 15. Each player can claim 10 cards to use in gameplay. (As in years past, it is fine to create and share fanworks here for cards that you did not claim; however, only claimed cards can be used to win bingo.)

My plan is to pick five cards. I already have five cards and I haven't even looked at the old ones. I see some tough choices ahead :D

I love the Shakespeare card (I can't believe I said that, I don't normally connect well to quotes as prompts).

I also really, really like the Shakespeare card ... and like Tolkien, I am not an English teacher who usually fawns excessively over the Bard. ;) But Narya chose some great quotes. I'm personally hoping for B15: Exit, pursued by a bear.

I'm on the fence about whether or not I will choose cards. As a mod, I can't win, but it might also keep me more focused. If I do, Shakespeare is on the list!

I'm always on the fence about these B2MeM challenges, but I like the restrictions on the Bingo one this year and hope it will make it less insane and more fun! So many great cards!
