Those who joined across the races were always doomed, the only question was what the doom consisted of. For Dol Amroth, the doom was in being the ones left behind when Mithrellas finally obeyed her heart and returned to her own people again. This was quite lovely, and it was wonderful to examine the different aspects of the word 'love' as used by the characters of the tale.
