Oh, dear mercurial Henry, the prodigal son of a miserly father, both bloody-minded, envious, devious, and heavy handed. (My roses are decidedly White, you must understand.)
This sounds to be so appropriate to his nature and court, and is so very well written! And I rejoice that in the end Maglor managed to escape so well. He certainly didn't deserve the enmity of Henry, but would be so likely to receive it for little or no reason. I always felt sorry for those who accepted Henry's suit!
