I'm Linaewen, and I've been a Tolkien fan since first picking up the books more than 40 years ago. This is my first year to particpate in B2MEM in this way, but I've been writing for some time and sharing my work at LJ and DW as well as in various Tolkien-related archives. I love all the books and have been in the habit of reading through the entire series chronologically from time to time. My passion is Men of Gondor, and in particular, Boromir. While I have written other characters, he is the one who features heavily in most of my work.
I have two of my own works that are dear to my heart that I would like to recommend. "Lords of Gondor" is my epic AU where Boromir survives the battle at Amon Hen and attempts the journey home to Gondor before war with Mordor breaks out. I started writing this one ten years ago, and in recent years have not been very prolific at updating, but I'm still working on it! It's my "life's work," so to speak. I'm looking forward to participating with some writing this month! I've got a few prompts that are tugging at me but inspiration hasn't fully struck yet.
