Thank you! This is a really meaty review and I love reading the bits that you enjoyed. And your description of the Valar as "really bad mods" really tickled me - so true!
I have to admit, I don't usually write First Age Elves, or elves at all, and am much more drawn to the Akallabeth as far as Silmfic goes. This was the first time I'd written either of these characters that I can recall offhand. But I am working through the alphabet of Dawn's BMEM prompts, or hope to, and many of them are First Age-based. So we may very well see more of these two characters. And I have a real interest verging on the Akallabeth, including all angles.I really enjoyed writing these characters, and if I get more ideas for them I will definitely post it.
