I thought it was clear enough. How wrenching, that it had to come to a point where this was absolutely the best thing Aragorn could do as a friend.
It’s been a long slide down the blade, but it’s cold at the quick end of steel. Great line, especially in light of the other line about the years on the edge of a blade.
