Well, as I said, I find the evidence persuasive, though not conclusive.
But Frodo, I believe, made up for the brevity of his experience compared to the other, by the extent of it during the time he bore the Ring. He racked up enough suffering, bravely and steadily borne, for several lifetimes...I think the status was a grace bestowed on him for his endurance.
