In Valinor during the Time of the Trees, there is lots of time to make up for things. Or it looks that way, especially if you are very young, like Fingon. To Maedhros, who is older--and a grandson of Miriel--things already look a little different, but even he has no idea yet how very much too late "too late" can be!
