When I was a child I lived just a few blocks from the Pacific. The sounds would carry up at night and I can still, all these decades later, hear them in my memory. Now for some reason I've got that sound, along with Maglor's and Elrond's lullaby drifting like sea wrack together. A not unpleasant sound. :) Very poignant and beautiful.
