The contrast between these two families is really well done. I could really feel Bofur's despair, and honestly, the difficulty of the dwarves' lives, being constantly uprooted in this period of time, is something I've never considered before. There is a lot to work with there in fanfic. And then the happy birth. Love Fili. Great characterization of everyone here.
