Back to Middle-earth Month

This was a wonderful read. I had pretty much no connection to Fíriel and Arvedui as people before - it's not a time period I usually write - but you managed to shine a bright and vivid and light on them for me - I loved all the details that helped realize them and their world (the shipments of taxes, Fíriel's expertise dealing with them, the difference in fashion, the weather, her preference for heat and her bewilderment at northern summers being so light, the sentiment of past glory and the hope for renewal being shared in their respective cultures) and that made me invested in the outcome of the story. By the end of it I was sitting here being a little misty-eyed, myself.

Suffice to say that I loved this a lot, and now I'm hoping to read a lot more from you during this month. :)
