Wow, that is high praise, and I'm so happy you enjoyed it, and that the positions of these women were so apparent and that the motif of the sea resonated with you. I love it myself (unsurprisingly - the bolded part, or rather the way it is worked into the Silmarillion was an eye-opener to this seaboard-dweller when I read it first), although at times I was wondering if I'd made the arc and significance clear enough, so it's wonderful to know that it was recognizable.
