Great story - a wonderful view of Aragorn struggling to take his place. It is good that Halbarad is there to comfort him and good that he has enough wisdom to deal with this and encourage Aragorn. I wonder if his living in Rivendell has given him an inflated opinion of his ancestors - I suspect they would not disapprove of him as much as he expects (especially with all the struggles they faced in their times).
