Nelyo is one of my favorite characters and the one I'm most likely to fangirl, so I have to say that I love your descriptions of him here. Actually, in general, your imagery in this piece is gorgeous; from the first paragraph, you dropped me into your setting, which has a vividness that definitely feels "Aman."
I like the uncertainty Tyelkormo expresses at the end: his doubts over his own actions, his intent, what he would have done if Nelyo had resisted. Of course, this is some ominous foreshadowing too ... :^\
