Back to Middle-earth Month

Aww, thank you! It's lovely that you read it even though you don't usually read Hobbit stories. There are a couple of wonderful unpublished appendices in HoME that feature Sam and (some) of his children and they are a joy to read. That was the basis for this, really. He read the Red Book to them and they were filled with questions and obviously was very important and real to them. So I thought they might very well re-enact a scene. And after what they went through on the Quest, I like to think of my Hobbits being happy. :-))
