I'm so glad you like it - I have always thought that a hobbit needs a family, and that Frodo would also be the perfect family for the Winter Elfling occurred to me very early on in the writing of that, original, story.
And I'm really pleased that Elliska's comment on the drabbles sent me in this direction, as it was a pleasure to write, even when Tharhîwon was rather sad, because I knew they were both going to get their happy ending.
