That's exactly what I was going for, that Elros didn't really know what was going on with Elrond only that he was missing out on something, so he compensated with attention seeking. Thanks also for your comments about the Numenor section. I'm so glad that came across well, I wanted it to be a place Elros would feel at home and the reader would like to visit.
