It is spring now here in the Pacific Northwest, but winter keeps pawing at us, rather like a cat fishing in a mouse's hole. The daffodils at my friends' house are beginning to bloom, while mine are not yet fully budded out. But the grass, too encouraged by the downpours of February and earlier this month, is growing far too quickly, and I don't yet have the lawnmower replaced!
Thank you so much! I don't do anywhere as much drawing or painting as once I did. I am so glad that this one blossom helps to reassure people that winter indeed is finally beginning to draw back.
