Mine too, back when I was an impressionable teenager with rather too romantic a turn of mind. How the whole story caught at my heart and imagination, and I so rejoice to share it with so many wonderful people! And I am so glad that you like that last passage. How Gandalf must have treasured so many he came to know and respect in this world.
