Yes, the Noldor. They have a very specific world-view, don't they?
And yes, Egalmoth. I have always been fond of him myself (his ironic attitude makes a nice change of pace from my more... earnest heroes -- and most of them are earnest), and have long hoped to write him a longer fic of his own. Sadly (for him), this seems to be that fic. We hurt the ones we love the most, etc. Oh well, at least he got some really good booze in the process.
And finally -- Orneredh. I am so glad that you see how impressive she really is. (I mean, she does travel around the darkest parts of Middle-earth on an endless pilgrimage to some of its most heartbreaking sites, occasionally pausing to dispatch an Orc or two using a shovel...) She is meant to serve as a bit of a parallel/counterpart to the shinily heroic Gondolindrim -- without taking anything away from them, of course. So thanks for getting that!
