What an excellent idea is Orneredh. It is always good to see a well thought out original female character; especially an elven one as, logically, there would have been more ellyth than ellyn in Middle Earth. One of Yavanna's handmaidens making sure the mounds of the dead are suitably clothed seems just right to me.
