Thank you again for your help, dear! *hugs* I really only got into Maglor, Maedhros and Fingon through fanfic, but particularly his fate tears at my heart, and I love to see small glimpses of his later life as a at least sometimes relaxed man, and perhaps evenhappy now and then. It seems perfectly logical that he would have landed in Imladris eventually, and come back after having being welcomed there, too, which goes without saying for me.
