I adore your Aragorn. His polite diffidence in the face of such overwhelming ardor, the way he latches onto the lifeline Nethril throws him, and especially his openness that indeed - he has lost his heart already and to an elf maiden.
I love it when a story cracks open new territory for me as this one did. It never crossed my mind that the Dunedain would be seriously concerned about heirs and whom their leader might marry. But this makes perfect sense! What race doesn't have dynastic desires?
