This is a father-son interaction we don't often see and I really enjoyed it. Finarfin comes across as a good, caring father, which I almost didn't expect but really liked and Finrod is -- healing, yes? And coming to terms with himself, which might take a long time. I liked the connection between them that comes from the shared gift, and also enjoyed the little touches of humour, the sense of them being family, even if this returned son is still a puzzle.

I hope you'll go on with his story at some point, I'd like to see what happens next, get a chance to watch his growth.
