The muse is certainly back, for now, at least. This story just wrote itself, and went from initial thoughts to finished product in a few mad hectic hours of writing (well, apart from having to stop half way through to go to work.) I'd originally hoped that it would contain a little more hope and happiness, but all those near-friendships just kept on slipping away. I might one day write a sequel of sorts - an epistolary story, perhaps, consisting of letters between her and Lothiriel? - but who knows?
I've been too busy writing to do much reading, but am looking forward to reading your stories soon!
