Thank you for sharing this story, it very much enjoyed it. I could see between the lines when I read "The Lord of the Rings" that this was in likelihood how Éowyn's early life had been spent: longing for more. I'm glad that she not only achieved what she yearned to become in canon, but also that she found a heart sister in Lothíriel in this story. This was brilliantly done.
While I was reading this, Lorena McKennitt's "Night Ride Through The Caucasus" was running through my mind and I could imagine something similar straining at the edge of Éowyn's thoughts, though she'd never know it.
