Thank you! I really enjoyed writing this. I feel a little guilty about the characterisations of the other childhood friends, though. So Erkenhild was vain and silly as a child... It doesn't mean that she won't grow up into a perfectly sensible woman. If it wasn't so self-indulgent, I'd be inclined to write a set of short pieces from the viewpoints of those three girls, and their experiences during the war.
