Back to Middle-earth Month

This was incredible. I had a lump in my throat starting in the first scene and it stayed there through to the end. The way you write Eowyn, who has difficulty relating to other women, who has to be persuaded to understand feminine interests, is so nuanced and believable. And the understanding she comes to by the end, that her struggle to be who she is was more difficult than physical battle, and that other women have struggled in the same way--it's understated but beautiful.
