Back to Middle-earth Month

Thank you! I had the story all ready to post, then suddenly decided that the final scene needed several additional paragraphs in which Éowyn explicitly stated some of the understandings she had come to over the course of the story. After fighting over these paragraphs for over an hour, I realised that it didn't need them at all, and went back to my original version. Then, of course, I worried that I'd left it all TOO understated, so I'm particularly pleased to hear that the original understated version worked for you! Thank you!
