Thanks much, Kaylee. I have wanted to write Arathorn for a long time, and am glad that my (mostly) absent Muse helped me bring him out for B2MEM. In my head-canon, Elrond tries to be present for the birth of each Heir of Isildur, as a foster-father and healer. I imagine that Elladan and/or Elrohir are with Gilraen and will come out in a minute, but I wanted a private moment between Arathorn, baby Aragorn, and then Elrond. I'm glad you liked the piece.
