I've been boinged - first thing on a sleepy Sunday morning! I LOVED Tegoldir's five-hundred year journey searching for stories. The casualness of up and disappearing for five-hundred years just reaches out of the story and smacks us measly happy-to-make-it-to-a-hundred-years-old humans - and then only, please God, if we're sound of mind and body.
