I'm glad that Idril has her happy ending! You painted her despair so well at the beginnign of the story, and she just came to life for me. I wish I could see the look on her face when she sees Thorongil again!
For some reason, the rooster is actually Feanor-like :D. Although I can't wrap my head around Maeglin the baker...And I'm surprised Beren and Feanor haven't killed each other!
