Username/nickname: Lbilover Location (as general or specific as you prefer): Central New Jersey, USA
Favorite characters: Frodo and Sam How you participate in fandom (fic reading or writing, art, etc.): Reading, writing, discussing, squeeing. :-) Main interests in your Tolkien fanworks (characters, races, relationships, etc): Pretty much Frodo/Sam slash plus LOTR gen, hobbits, Fellowship fics. Also Sean Astin/Elijah Wood RPS. Link(s) to your fanworks (SWG, MPTT, DeviantArt, AO3, etc.): My web site is More Than Either Alone (http://www.morethaneitheralone.net). I have a few non-LOTR fics at AO3 and some LOTR gen at Stories of Arda under Lbilover Other fandoms you participate in: Not much. I dabble a little in Cabin Pressue and Jeremiah, have written The Faculty fic in the past, try to participate each year in Yuletide. Other sites you use (Tumblr, Dreamwidth, etc.): I have a Dreamwidth account, but don't actively use it. I'm on Tumblr, but keep to myself there, same with Twitter. Non-fandom interests: Dogs, horses, nature, photography, birds. I'm vegan, love hiking, and my politics are progressive.
How often and what do you post: I post to LJ regularly. Personal life stuff, photographs I've taken, book and movie recs, fannish stuff about Frodo and Sam or Sean and Elijah or LOTR in general, or anything that strikes my fancy. It's a mixed bag. Everything is friends locked. How often you read your friends-list and/or comment: I read it daily, try to comment often, RL permitting. Friending policy: Must be mutual, and I'm not a fan of filtering so if you decide you no longer want to be friends, it's totally cool to unfriend me. No hard feelings. :-)
To finish off: what’s your favorite Tolkien quote? "Then as he had kept watch Sam had noticed that at times a light seemed to be shining faintly within; but now the light was even clearer and stronger. Frodo's face was peaceful, the marks of fear and care had left it; but it looked old, old and beautiful, as if the chiseling of the shaping years was now revealed in many fine lines that had before been hidden, though the identity of the face was not changed. Not that Sam Gamgee put it that way to himself. He shook his head, as if finding words useless, and murmured: "I love him. He's like that, and sometimes it shines through, somehow. But I love him, whether or no."
