B2MeM Challenge: E like an evil Elrond
Format: Scenelette
Genre: Fluff, fluff and more fluff
Rating: Definitely gen.
Warnings: Cuteness overload
Characters: Elrond, Elrohir, Elladan, Celebrian
Pairings: NA
Creators' Notes (optional): OK. I just couldn't make him totally evil.
Summary: Weather interrupts lessons in Imladris
I wish I owned Elrond but I don't. All the characters and settings in this scene belong to JRR Tolkien.
LET US GO
“No”
Two sets of perfectly matched lips pouted. “But Ada . . .”
“No. You will complete your Quenya translation first.”
Two sets of beautiful grey eyes grew misty. “But it’s snowing, Ada.”
“And it will still be snowing in one hour’s time. When you have finished your lesson.”
Two dark heads bent to their task and Elrond watched two tears splash upon two parchments.
“Oh, very well. Go. But I expect those translations upon my desk by the noon bell tomorrow.”
Elrond watched as his sons hurtled down the steps and dived into the already banking snow.
Celebrian’s hands snaked about his waist from behind and she laid her head upon his shoulder to whisper in his ear. “You made it snow, did you not?”
Her husband smiled. “Perhaps.”

Date: 2016-03-05 12:44 pm (UTC)Back in the day, I had an awful time with this prompt. How in the world could I think of "kind as summer" Elrond as being "evil".
But that doesn't mean someone can't perceive him that way...

Date: 2016-03-05 03:52 pm (UTC)(Hmm, I got around 'antagonistic Arwen' by making it someone logical she'd be antagonistic to in my 'verse, 'bathing Boromir' by using a totally unexpected Boromir, and 'certain circumstances in the Citadel' just now by using the OTHER Citadel. xD. I wonder how I will tackle "evil" Elrond when I get there...o_O)
