Thank you! Hithon surprised me in this one. My original plan was that he would indeed accept Aragorn's job offer. I hadn't planned all the stuff about Hithon finally moving on from his past and beginning to become a leader in his own right. It just happened, but as soon as it did, I knew that it was right. It meant that the story ended differently from the way I'd planned, but it was the right way to end it.
