Oh, I bought every "16" and every "Tiger Beat" that had a word about them in it, plus all the "Tiger Beat Monkee Specials" as well.
I don't care much for the modern celebrity culture. I do enjoy and respect celebrities who have actually *earned* their fame through their skill and talent, though I don't follow them as I did when I was a teen-- but I have nothing but contempt for those who are simply famous because they are famous, like the "reality show" stars. Many of them are quite disgusting. And it is difficult to avoid them, as they are everywhere, even in the news.
