Oh, this makes me so happy to see a crossover with Roverandom! And a story I've always wanted to see told, as well. I love every bit of this, from Gandalf telling Moon-Rover and Roverandom all about Tilion's adventures in the Prancing Pony, to the details of who and what exactly were in the inn, down to the dishes and the spoons! I wonder if Gandalf later related this story to Bilbo, who made up the poem that Frodo sang in the Prancing Pony where it all began?
