Oh wow. This feels very homey to me, with the puppy and Gilraen pottering about, and Aragorn coming for a final long visit. Their last hug got me all choked up. But it seems the end was peaceful, seeing the rising star that is her forefather, and that's just really nice to think about. It's different in almost every particular, but feels similar to Aragorn's own death, many years later, in its quiet acceptance.
