Sam is totally the salt of the earth - there's no subterfuge in Sam, everything is right there for anyone with eyes to see. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the different dialects of the characters in this. Dialect is always a bit tricky and I probably should have taken one more read-through for Elanor, just to make sure I caught it all, but I'm pretty confident that her voice rings true. I enjoy writing dialects, they are tricky but they can bring so much depth to a character.
