I'd argue that "ambiguous kiss" #7 isn't really all that ambiguous; it's from the Lay of Leithian, isn't it, after Lúthien declares her intention to "serve" Morgoth and Morgoth ponders what to do with her. He's doing it in a metaphorical way, but it seems pretty clear what he has in mind. It's... not romantic, but it's not ambiguous, either.
What a great list! It's so sweet to have all these kisses (except for the one above) in one place. The easy affection (?) between the Hobbits in particular is very touching (and probably goes some way of explaining their resilience in the face of the Ring-quest).
