Fruit and Flower
Yavanna sang: in the darkness fruit and flower were kindled.
She offered them to Manwë, whose hands hallowed them;
Aulë made for the fruit and flower vessels,
that their holy radiance be ever preserved;
Varda took them, and fashioned lamps.
and the fruit was Arien's,
the flower was Tilion's,
sailing the sky,
Sun and
Moon.
