Summary:One Wild Card, Blue path, an illustration to my Day 17 story, "Forever"
One of my wild cards was to do an art piece of my choice. I decided to do a minimal palette ink drawing of my short tale made for Day 17, "Forever". In the tale, Nerdanel visits Mandos asking when her children and husband will be reborn and allowed to return to her. Here, she crests a hill and faces Mandos.
Mandos is surrounded by a tall hedge and the entrance is obscured by mist. I based the actual building on the funerary Temple of Hatshepsut in Egypt, near the Valley of the Kings. Of course, I also think this is relatively early in Arda's history. These days, I suspect Mandos is actually a very large, multi-storied high rise.
