Finrod had brought her for a visit to Dorthonion and, when Artanis came upon her, her heart did a flip. Had this woman come to mean so much to her brother? She found herself resenting it, until Andreth looked up from her basket-weaving and their eyes met: There, Artanis saw strength, passion, courage, wisdom, kindness, and that fast-burning flame she had learned belonged to humans.
