I like how the connection to Elwing is made both in jest and seriously and how the memory of the beach and the scene in palace resonate with each other. Azrahad's is such a good project. Maybe, a few generations earlier, this could have actually achieved a bit of what he's trying to do. Even now he still is able to bring Miriel some comfort, even though he endangers both himself and probably also her: foolish and yet not.
