This was really sweet. I'm sure not only was Elanor thrilled with the great honor, but all hobbits were amazed that the Big Folk in the far South would care enough about hobbits to extend such an honor to her. "Of course", they might mutter in the pubs around the Shire, "it was only right that they honor the daughter of their multi-term Mayor".
