Creator’s Notes (optional):In the early days of Beleriand, monsters roamed the earth. It was the job of hunters to bring them down.
Summary:A group of hunters notice a strange similarity between shapeshifters they have killed.
BRUISES
The hunters carefully gathered around the body of the shapeshifter.
“There!” Their leader pointed out two bruises, one on each side of the creature’s neck. “That matched marking. We’re seeing that more and more often on the bodies of these filth we have slain. Who can say how those bruised marks came there or who placed them.”
A valley to the west, a muscled, lean bodied lycanthrope raised his head from the bloodied arm of his newest recruit. Leaning down he grasped the newly-created shifter around its throat, pulling it to its feet. Unnoticed, two symmetrical bruises began to form.
