The free space will automatically receive a stamp. For the cards I'm assigned to stamp, I'm figuring I'll stamp the free space when you do the first challenge for that card ... or I might get them stamped ahead of time, if I have some spare time. (As if! :)
The continuous story might work depending on the cards one has claimed ... I did think about that approach ... o.O
