That is so cute! *loves* I'd imagine Mr. Morgoth having one of those houses that I was afraid to go up to as a kid because the owner always hid somewhere in a scary mask and jumped out when you went up on the porch!

Does a prompt also count as fulfilled when it's kind of subverted in the fic? (As in, instead of "tidings of comfort and joy" there's rather... the opposite. >_>)

That's pretty much what I did with that prompt in my story yesterday. The Valar intend for the Silmarils to act as "tidings of comfort and joy" (a way of coaxing Feanor into proclaiming all's right with him and his family and, no! of course he doesn't mind their whole meddling-in-his-family thing!) but it of course turns out exactly the opposite. If you say it counts then it counts! :)
