I have a question about the "Create a Playlist" prompt on the Meta card - will a list do, or do we actually have to provide the music? I'm a tad iffy sharing copyrighted material on the community, as I don't want anyone to get into trouble...

For sharing music online, I'll either link to the official YouTube video for a song, if there is one, or link to it on Grooveshark (http://grooveshark.com) (streaming only, legal). You can get URLs for individual songs by clicking the little triangle button on a song's icon when it comes up on the playlist. The nice thing about Grooveshark is that if you create a username (free), you can also save whole playlists and link to them, as well. I'm sure just a list of songs would be fine, too. (Mods, please correct me if I'm wrong)

best,
Aliana

Thank you - both for the link, and for the meta card! I've enjoyed playing with that one. ^^ (And there goes my productivity for the afternoon. What's this writing thing again?)

Hi Dawn. Please stamp:
In a manner of Speaking - ways to skin a cat
Water - clouds
Celebrations - lovers' day
I had to consider the choices for a while. These seem to work together.

*comes back, edits* and also
Silm fanon - Namo, a kinder, gentler Death (or whatever it's called) please. Had a sudden inspiration..

Thank you :)

Dear Santa Dawn,

today I have worked on a Lay of Leithian/Taketori-monogatari crossover and on a new chapter for that weird Palantír story I started back in 2009. Also, Caranthir terrified to young mortals, and Námo is being an ice-cold asshole to poor dear Fëanor. I, on the other hand, think I have been a very good girl. So I would like a stamp on Crossovers 1, Festivals & Celebrations, In a Manner of speaking and Silmarillion Canon each, please.
Thank you!

Lyra

Don't have to contradict the Fëanatics! card. You can if you want to, but in that case, going WITH the fanon is perfectly fine ;)

Idle Leaves - N31
Finrod card (change of dialect)
Festivals & Celebrations card (Lovers' Day)
Silmarillion Fanon card (a kinder, gentler Lord of Death)

whether or not you can walk with a broken tailbone

Walking is possible. But speaking from personal experience - Ow. (It actually hurts worse to sit than to stand, but walking is not a lot of fun.)

Well, the alternative would be horseriding... >_> Walking it is, I guess! (That, or lying forward on the horse's back, maybe. Anyone got any experience with that? Damn. Couldn't he have fallen on his arm or something? :P)

Considering what my arse feels like after a regular day of horseback-riding, I shudder to think of what one would feel like doing it with a broken tailbone. Aiee.

Couldn't he have fallen on his arm or something?

Of course not. That would be easier to cope with in the narrative. Can't have that. :D

Two please.

Horror: darkness, Fog and Shadows,

and

Fëanatics: Fëanor hugged his kids. :)

Easy peasy! He's extremely demonstrative and loving and hugs them often. (No, I'm not joking. I have many hug-moments already, one more is nothing!).

Thank-you!

And that's exactly what I did! I refuse to contradict anything on that card unless I really really really have to. ;)

The problem is, I should be concentrating on studying for that stupid final exam next week instead of writing about Fëanáro hugging his sons - or writing anything for B2MeM. But the temptation is simply too great. *sigh*

I know - resistance is futile.

Hit me with another one. ;)

N31

Fëanátics - Did you know…? Fëanor hugged his kids (really, he did!)

Ficlet, 654 words, finished.
